BREAKING -- VENT Fitness to freeze all membership dues

Guilderland, NY — As a result of New York State Governor Cuomo’s recent closure of gyms and health clubs statewide, VENT Fitness will freeze the collection of all membership dues effective immediately. Operations at all five VENT locations were also suspended beginning Monday, March 16, 2020 at 8 p.m. until further notice. 3.16.20 VENT Fitness to temporarily suspend operations

Guilderland, NY — VENT Fitness will suspend operations at all facilities in accordance with New York State Governor Cuomo’s executive order beginning at 8 p.m. EST, Monday, March 16, 2020. All five locations will close temporarily as directed by the statement issued from the Governor’s office earlier Monday. Facilities will remain closed until granted option to open. Members are invited to keep up to date on all future developments via VENT Fitness Facebook and Instagram, via the VENT Fitness mobile app, and through email. Members are encouraged to update their contact information here to ensure all updates are received.

We appreciate your patience as we all learn to negotiate in these unprecedented circumstances.

Regarding COVID-19

VENT Fitness is committed to the utmost in cleanliness at all of our locations, and our first priority is the safety and well-being of our members and staff. At this time, we are working closely with the Department of Health and following guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control to ensure we continue to uphold our non-negotiable commitment to a super-clean VENT experience.

In addition to our regular, rigorous cleaning efforts, VENT Fitness has adopted additional and immediate increased sanitization measures, and we encourage all members to take a proactive approach by utilizing these new resources before, during, and after their workouts.

In response to COVID-19, 
VENT Fitness has implemented the following

  • Increased availability of sanitizing gels, wipes, and sprays throughout all locations
  • Increased staff awareness and cleaning efforts
  • Strict adherence to CDC Guidelines for cleaning & disinfection
  • Self-Check-In (to prevent keytag exchange among members and staff)
  • Increased communication to members about proper hand washing and social distancing
  • Discontinued refills at Energy Bar to minimize contamination
  • Discontinued use of common-use MMA gloves during E3 classes
  • Waived Membership FREEZE fees through May 31, 2020
  • Waived cancellation fees for Personal and Group Training Sessions due to illness
  • Class capacity reduced to allow for 6' social distance
  • Total Club Sanitization -- all locations, to be completed March 15

As this situation evolves, we are committed to prioritizing the safety and health of our members and staff. As new information emerges, we are prepared to act accordingly, but our success in this endeavor relies on your support. The Saratoga County Department of Health (DOH) contacted VENT Fitness Clifton Park on Monday, March 9, 2020 to confirm that two members who had visited the location on Thursday, March 5 have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).
